Angling for Launch Coverage

A tech start-up targeting the fishing community, Dangler approached Lexia late in 2019, ahead of its plans to launch an innovative online marketplace.

Having secured 500k in seed investment, the three founding brothers were keen to find an agency which would be agile, innovative, and connected enough to reach multiple media streams.

Our creative exploration session led to the discovery that one of the brothers had in fact been lined up to be on the longlist for GB contention in Tokyo 2020.

When the pandemic hit, we focused hard on shifting the coverage toward announcing that Harry’s cancelled Olympic mission had given a lockdown focus to his new fishing tech business.

Our efforts resulted in regional, national and broadcast coverage, including The Sun, and ITV.
