TV Triumph for New Tech Launch

Lockdown might have been a tricky time for some, but for our client, it proved the perfect opportunity to refine and launch their tech business.

Dangler - a unique online marketplace for those passionate about fishing - was formally sent ‘live’ in July, creating an ideal buying and selling platform during a period when very little ‘physical retail’ has been taking place.

Our agency team loved the fact that we could make the big PR announcement on the very weekend that the 2020 Olympics would have been getting under way.

Why that timing?
Well, it turns out Dangler’s founder Harry Hughes - who has created the project with his two brothers - is a GB athlete and had his sporting focus put on pause by the Covid disruption.

We were thrilled to see significant print and broadcast coverage for Harry, Daniel and Kane, including a superb evening piece with ITV Anglia, and a story about Harry’s lockdown diversion, covered in The Sun.
